A Basic Overview of Transegoism

A General Overview of the Principles of Transegoism

“C.E.’s Another Heaven,” by Gale Titus.

Although this explanation of the tenets of Transegoism is quite basic, there is an even shorter, more basic explanation that can be found here. Transegoism can also be explained in one sentence: it is the idea that the universe is a conscious being, and that when individuals are allowed to interact with one another without external coercive forces, a superorganism emerges, which is resonant with this universal consciousness.

Transegoism: Introduction

Transegoism is the philosophy of the unfolding sequence orbiting the bright glory of the Divine eternity. It is the acceptance of both the beauty of logical reasoning, and the development of higher skills of physical, subconscious, and spiritual perception; it is the pursuit of reasoned faith. It is the understanding that when we, as individuals, are allowed to live free of external restraint upon our individual freedoms, and accept that, in the end, we must personally accept responsibility for our lives and choices, and that we must develop relationships with those whom we have chosen to build our lives with, what emerges, naturally, from within society, is a superorganism which is constantly evolving, and is intimately in touch with the creator. It is a belief system that is a further development of the political philosophy of classical liberalism; we acknowledge that the individual owns himself and his actions, and that all of his rights follow from this basic principle, and the Transegoist strives to establish a government which limits itself to the protection of this single principle – that eventually we, as a society, may reach the point at which this principle has become so engrained, and the adjudication of it has become so established, that we may do away with all tools of external force, altogether (including government). Finally, the Transegoist is someone who takes joy in appreciating experiences meant to be experienced for their own sake, which inform his understanding of the truth, and resonate with his sense of life.

Metaphysics

Transegoists’ metaphysical beliefs are subject to the level of scientific understanding available at a given point in time. However, by de-conflicting current scientific understanding with some basic logical axioms, the Transegoist is able to construct for himself a Metaphysical model, and use it to project the likely fundamental attributes of existence.

The current Transegoist model of Metaphysics is deistic/theistic monism. That is, there is a God, and there is one, physically consistent universe, which subsumes both the physical and spiritual; which are two aspects of a single existence. However, because God is assumed to be all-powerful and all-knowing, in order to de-conflict the idea of God’s existence with that of a monistic universe, we must accept some form of panentheism; the idea that God and the Universe are identical. We believe that the God-consciousness experiences the space-time sequence holistically, as opposed to linearly, via the properties of light, and the hyper-dilation of time, and that, while no particular object within the Universe can be thought of as God, the Universe, taken as a whole, is God Himself. We further hold that God is connected to all consciousness via the entanglement principle, and conscious beings manifest the God consciousness vertically and collectively, through prayer, and laterally and individually, through relationships.

Epistemology

The foundational principle of the Transegoist Epistemology is that the experience of the objective, and the spiritual exploration of the subjective is de-conflicted through the application of logical principles, and, in this way, the individual acquires knowledge and understanding.

This is a process which is greatly enhanced by a healthy social, familial, religious and academic environment. There are many examples of this synergistic social process, which include (but are not limited to):

- Reading books, and de-conflicting the accounts and arguments of their authors.

- Interacting with other individuals whose souls resonate with one’s own.

- Enjoying the privilege of being raised in a family that values the truth.

- The pursuit of a relationship with the Universal Personality.

- The religious fellowship of the lovers of truth and of spiritual purity and strength.

Aesthetics

The result of an individual’s earnest pursuit of the truth and his integration with resonant souls results in a steady growth of spiritual and psychological maturity, both of the individual and of the emergent superorganism.

The Transegoist Aesthetic maintains as its basic premise that art is: that which is meant to be experienced for its own sake. As such, art, as we know it, falls into five basic categories (based on the five senses):

1. The visual arts (painting, sculpture, etc.).

2. The auditory arts (music).

3. The olfactory arts (food, drink, aroma products, etc.).

4. The tactile arts (fashion).

5. Literature (art which uses words which are experienced by the mind’s eye).

Each of these categories can be combined with one another in various ways (e.g., dancing is a combination of the visual and auditory arts, fashion is a combination of the visual and tactile arts, and opera is a combination of the musical and literary arts), and they each also have several (potentially countless) subcategories (e.g., painting, sculpture, and architecture are all subcategories of the visual arts, whereas, classical, rock, and jazz are all subcategories of the auditory arts). Further, Transegoism holds that what causes art to be valued as an experience, is the extent to which it resonates with the sense of life of the one experiencing it, and that great art expands one’s grasp of truth.

Ethics

The Transegoist Ethic holds as its core values, five fundamental principles:

1. The proper basis for individual interactions is enlightened self-interest.

2. The individual’s understanding of his true interests is informed by his uncompromising search for truth,

and scrupulous self-honesty.

3. Because he must have a sense of justice to be able to remain in good standing with the Universal

Personality, and not lose his essential spiritual connection to the
divine, he finds that he must eschew

every sort of hypocrisy, and must treat others
as he would want to be treated; he respects the persons and

properties of others.

4. Because the individual is not complete without healthy social integration, his interests dictate that he

choose his associates with great care, and, over time, fully i
ntegrate himself into his chosen circle, which

ultimately becomes his spiritual family;
in some cases, to the point that he is willing to risk everything he is

for their sake.

5. Finally, an individual who has reached a certain point of spiritual power finds that he must take an

aggressive, public stance against evil and injustice, because
failure to do so causes his soul to be filled with

grief, and so he commits his body,
soul and spirit entirely to promote righteousness and truth, and will

fight for these
things, even with his dying breath.

Politics

The Transegoist model of Politics requires a government which is consistent with individual rights. “Individual rights,” according to this model, are held to be: those rights which follow from the basic principle that every individual is the owner of himself and his actions. That is to say, every individual owns his own person, and that which he achieves through the exercise of his person. This single principle is sacrosanct, and because this is the case, and because government operates exclusively on the basis of force, the only possible government which could be considered legitimate is one which dedicates itself exclusively to the prosecution of those who initiate violence (understood to mean – violations of an individual’s person or property), or commit fraud (including violations of contractual obligations), as well as protect its designated territory from foreign invaders. This government must not engage in any actions outside of this strictly defined mandate. The ideologies in the current state of social awareness that fit this political model best are Libertarianism and Laissez Faire Capitalism.

The end goal of the Transegoist political model is to develop a society in which the ideas of individual sovereignty and responsibility have become so ingrained within the culture, and its systems of adjudication so established, that government can be abandoned altogether, evolving into a social system beyond the need for force; Anarcho-Capitalism.
